Introduction

So, I love making hats, mostly berets. Here's a pattern that I made up because I had a small skein of yarn that was given to me, and this project uses a relatively small amount of yarn. It's a fun way to increase and decrease, and the pattern is really loose; try it your a different way once you get the hang of the pattern.

Materials List

Patons Brand Katrina (92% Rayon, 8% Polyester), 1 skein in color of choice (I used Limon), or any stretchy, Worsted weight yarn.
Size F/5 (3.75MM) crochet hook.
Scrap yarn of a contrasting color for marking

The Pattern

Brim
Ch 7
Row 1: SC across (6 sts)
Row 2+: SC on back loops only until piece measures 21in/53cm. Fasten off. Seem the two ends into a circle, being careful not to twist it.
